| Requests for applications are taken throughout the year, but
applications are sent out September through December. The application fee is $35 and is
followed by a scheduled parent-led tour in October, November, or December and a small group play
visit in February. Applicants will be notified by mail in early March. Children applying to UPNS must be 2 by September of the year they are applying. Priority is given to returning students, siblings of current and/or returning UPNS families and faculty and staff of New York University. Classes run from Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2 pm. An after school program until 4.30 pm is available at an additional cost. Our school year runs from mid-September to mid-June and loosely follows the NYC Public School calendar. UPNS also has a summer camp program for parts of June and all of July. University Plaza Nursery School, Inc. is a non-profit school and member of
the Parent's League of New York. The school complies with Federal, State and City statutes
